This is a lossless copy of the short film "Sintel". The frames are 4096 by 1744 images as individual png files with 16 bits per channel. Intended playback rate is 24 frames per second. This is the corrected 4k render released in February 2011, with a number of improvements over the original 2k render from October 2010. See http://www.sintel.org/ for more information. These files are derived from the 'sintel-4k-tiff16' set provided by the Blender Foundation. They were converted from tiff to png with Imagemagick, and further compressed with pngcrush and advdef. The first 67 frames, which are all black but only 8 bits per channel in the original tiff set, have been replaced with full 16 bit black files to reduce confusion.
