I'm just now getting to where I can relax and enjoy the December goodies from
both lists. Many thanks to all who sent them. Here are some quick comments
on the lysator-only "pressies":

>From Steve, a filk to "Rudolph":

> Avon the Rebel Leader
> Had a very big ego

And his nose wasn't hard to miss either. ;)

> Then one final crashdown site
> Gauda Prime, they say

These were my favorite lines.

>From Joanne:

> Sarcophagus Carol

For a brief second, I thought you were entombing me, Joanne. ;)

> Green I wear, your life to renew
> Loneliness in mind to see through
> Seek communion
> Minds' reunion
> Source of a soul for you

The entire filk was excellent, with the above stanza especially exceptional.

>From Mistral's "Rudolph" filk:

> Cally wore a reindeer suit, sporting antlers in her hair.

Well, I guess we know who took over her mind this time. ;) Poor
Vila, these visions are almost as bad as a visit from Xmas ghosts.

If I missed any of the goodies, someone nudge me.

Actually, the millennium doesn't change for another year, but that isn't
stopping me from watching the fireworks from the computer room window...
I need something to cheer myself up, after watching the final episode of
Das Boot, which proved that there *is* another programme out there with
as cheerful an ending as B7.

Anyway, happy new year, the bug doesn't seem to have bitten much yet, so
there's a good chance most of you will get to read this:-)

Cheers...

<beam>

Here's news if you know anybody living in western Washington state
or British Columbia:

The Tacoma PBS/College station, KBTC, starts a new run of
Blakes 7 Saturday, January 1st, at 8:00 p.m. PST. (It's about time--
Star Cops is OK, but two years of the same nine eps? Please!)
Can't wait to see if we get Spacefall cut or uncut ;-)

Maybe we'll get some new souls for the faith.

Has anyone noticed Steven Pacey in any currently airing commercials (aside
from the drink driving one)? A friend has offered to try to catch his
commercials on tape if any are out and about. If anyone has seen any, please
let me know which product is involved (privately would probably be best; I
doubt if this is of general interest to the lists). Thanks.

It's 2000. The sun came up. The power is on. The computer appears to be
functioning.

Happy New Year to all,
Carol Mc
