Jenni asked: "what I want to know is how did "Animals" end up
in the Wheat section? And above "Blake" no less!"

I'm thinking of starting an Og Defence League as a subsection
of the RSPCA (Rogerson's Society for the Prevention of
Cruelty to Animals).

Julie said: "One thing we noticed though about the shiny
Limited Edition, is that it is now even more limited. The first
four tapes said that it was a limited edition of 7000 - whereas
the new tape says it is only 3000. Does anyone know or can
speculate on the rationale behind this change?"

Well if you combine that with major chains like WH Smiths
and Woolworths not giving tape 5 to the bulk of their shops,
my guess is that sales of the first four were lower than
expected. I've also already seen tapes one to four bundles being
sold cheap on mail order in two places.

But - but - postman pat has a
black-and-white cat... Anyway, I find the
eventless rhythm of Postman Pat far
more hypnotising than the frequent bursts of
emergency in Fireman Sam.

It's an invaluable item in the Federation.
Avon uses it to keep that silk underwear
we all *know* he wears under all that leather
spotless, Sevalan uses it to treat the hayfever
her furs give her, and Soolin uses it to keep
those golden locks free of little nasties, as well
as giving the Scorpio interior a nice fresh scent.
And our put-upon little thief probably uses it
to clean the latrines.

If that evil day ever comes for me, I want to
wear that lizard gown from "Pressure Point."
Possibly with that adorable hat she wore
earlier... What with Jenna's gorgeous blue
dress, PP was a high point for the ladies'
costume department.

The Blake Seven Federation Nil has me ROFL!

I can tell this 7 x 7 was a brilliant idea. What gems have been coming
forth! Oh, I hope all 49 slots aren't used up before I come back from
vacation, because I don't have time to send any now, but I'm SURE some
of my poetry can be made into 49 words. Or maybe a choice bit of prose
excerpted from a fanfic in progress. Any rate, I WILL be sending
something in, but not until mid-July.

I make it 45 words, including the title.
Did you use an automatic word-count thing instead of doing it by hand?
Because the only way you could have gotten 53 would be if you counted
some of the punctuation as words!

(I thought the idea was for it to be 49 words exactly.)

Anyway, it was fun, though.

Has Judith Proctor sent a story yet? I've been waiting to see one from her,
but haven't yet. I'm wondering if I missed it.

Thanks

For those of you who've been following the HELLHOUND Blakes 7 series by
Katrina and Suzanne over the years, and for those of you who are curious about
it, Annie has been setting up a pretty neat site with tons of goodies and info

I heard that Sarah Thompson was looking for data on the early issues
of Enarrare', so I've put them up on the Enarrare page. Just the
tables of contents at this point.

Its been fantastic, and I'm desperately impressed.

49 is a minimum, not a maximum. I'm going to use a system which is almost
infinitely expandable to display all of these, so Don't Hold Back. However
it's going to take me a week or so to get my real life work on an even keel
(don't it always happen) so it's not going to spring into life as soon as I
want.

Yeah, and why are all the B7 tapes in Virgin stores filed under T.V. dramas
and not Sci-fi? Surely B7 belongs to the ranks of Dr.Who, Star Trek and even
Space 1999(!) and not degraded to the status of mingling with other crappy
old T.V. shows that have never achieved such cult status.
